Roll 'em up

Get on the track get on the board,
Take that slightly less travelled road.

Take a stand rather than giving a nod,
It's the time you better be wise and bold.

Don't see the mess and feign indifference;
Because deep down, I know you care.

Don't wait for them to fix for you everything,
Your abode is in trouble while you are busy in money minting.

Hold on to dreams and hopes of better tomorrow;
Of safety and prosperity and devoid of sorrows.

So roll your sleeves friends roll em up,
None other than you can change this filthy stuff.

"Let us never forget that government is ourselves and not an alien power over us. The ultimate rulers of our democracy are not a president and senators and congressman and government officials, but the voters of this country." - Franklin D. Roosevelt

Lost & Found

Lost I was in the moment of despair;
Nothing I could do, but stand and stare,

Questions about capabilities and capacities were asked,
I had lost what I thought was my last chance,

Then came the time sweeping me off with it,
And I found how important it is not to quit.

Lost I was in the dashed hope;
I thought how will I ever cope?

This time it was matter of the heart,
Ruthlessly broken into pieces and parts,

Then came love sweeping me off with it,
And I found how beautiful it is without any limits.

Lost I was in the vicious routine;
And thought life has lost its charm and sheen.

I panicked because the days just passed by,
And some things needed to be accomplished before I die,

Then came life sweeping me off with it,
And I found there are infinite precious moments to cherish.

Some Random Hopes...

·         I hope that someday I will find the man of my dreams and I so hope he better exist.

·         I hope someday my boss will understand the importance of afternoon naps and will allow me to take one after lunch. After all they are not called 'power' naps for nothing (But who can explain this to him! *sigh*).

·         I hope one day my friend's pet dog will bite him and he will get rid of it (All the dog lovers out there do not be offended this is the case of mutual loathing and I don't hate all dogs, not this much at least)

·         I hope the streets will be less crowded in the days to come and people will understand the importance of using public transport instead of flaunting their cars.

·         I hope Mondays will stop working overtime some-Mon-day.

·         I hope someday I will own a beach house and will be able to spend the rest of my life there.

Hey you! Yes YOU!

Hey Beautiful YOU,

Stop frowning. It will give you wrinkles, all at wrong places when you will get old and you will end up looking like a vamp of Hindi TV series.

Stop living in the past it may or may not be better than today, but believe you me, Today is beautiful  & tomorrows will be more beautiful & wonderful. You will realise everything you wanted in the past was so wrong because right will be absolutely and perfectly right and you will be grateful to god for not listening to your stupid demands.

Stop moaning about your height, weight, skin or complexion. It is not doing you any good & it doesn’t matter to the people who love you either. So love yourself, at least give it a try it is not that difficult.

Stop grumbling about your wrinkles and grey hair. They are the proof that you have made it to today, gracefully and adroitly and so they should be adored and celebrated and moreover someone else has already said it better that the most important aspects of life-love, humour and wisdom are ageless.

Admire the deep and wise sea which hides beneath its heart the secret of ages and times we could not live in, wonder how it can be stormy and unpredictable and mysterious and infinite and tranquil all at once simultaneously. Breathe in the salty air and let it amaze you, mesmerize you.

Let love sweep you off your feet. Never be afraid to love. You’ll sabotage yourself without knowing. Believe in its power and magic. But at the same don’t fall prey to the trap of loving someone who doesn’t love you and respect you. Remember; If he doesn’t respect you, then you deserve better. Period. Never chase Love it will happen if it’s meant to be, but at the same time never lose faith in finding your perfect someone.

Trust in the Almighty, have faith in him, blind enough to believe that he will never allow anyone to wrong you and will protect you come what may. He is your strength, your guide, your indestructible support, your truth, your life – the reason of your being and most of all trust that he is.

Always remember, “You are imperfect, permanently and inevitably flawed. And, you are beautiful.”-Amy Bloom.

Yes! you are a star….

Blurred Actualities

The heartless stones  that turned into rocks,
Circumstances that malformed human into a fox,
The fragility of love meant to last long,
And broken wills of the people, once so strong
Yes I have seen it all.

The budding flowers on a barren land,
Little dreams growing into the things so grand,
The moment that lifelong animosity mend,
The instant you realise someone is a true friend.
Yes I have seen them all.

The dunes of sand washed by the waves of time,
The remnant of somebody's manson high,
The memories in which life resides,
The truth being slaughtered by power of vice.
Yes I have seen it all.

The bright mornings after darkest nights,
The silver linings and the stars so bright,
The fear of failure and the victory with pride,
The life of ignorance and the purpose of life,
Yes I have seen them all.
